1 Samuel 18:13-15
International Standard Version

13 Saul removed David[a] from his presence and made him an officer over a division of soldiers.[b] So David led the troops in battle.[c] 14 David was successful in all that he did, for the Lord was with him. 15 When Saul saw that David[d] was highly successful, he feared him.
